Oral medicine department imparts diagnosis and treatment of diseases, disorders of the oral cavity, maxillofacial area and the associated structures and their impact on the human body .The goals are to make a preliminary diagnosis and identification of the systemic diseases leading to oral manifestations. Providing an oral health care for medically compromised patients. Identification and treatment planning of diseases of oral mucosa, Orofacial region, salivary glands and Orofacial pain.

- Initial reception, chief complaint
- Medical and surgical histories
- Consultations of Face joints, painful muscles of the face, burning mouth syndrome ,other neurological pain.
- Management of Oral ulcers, sores Bullous lesions with systemic diseases oral disease causing systemic and infectious diseases
- Procedures like
- Biopsies,
- Imaging studies
- Salivary and blood tests
- Medical management
- Specialized injections in case of Temporomandibular joint and oral mucosal lesions
